About & Introduction
Many people start therapy when life stops feeling the way it once did — when roles shift, relationships change, or health challenges emerge. Transitions can bring up feelings, patterns, or responsibilities we’ve been carrying for too long, and sometimes all it takes is a space to pause, reflect, and be heard.
I’m Deb, a therapist with over 17 years of experience supporting adults through life’s shifts, including peri/menopause, changing family roles, empty nest transitions, and the challenges of the Sandwich Generation.
Many people begin therapy when roles shift, relationships change, health challenges emerge, or life stops feeling the way it once did.
Transitions can make us notice that we’ve been carrying more than we realized, that some patterns no longer serve us, or that it’s time to pay attention to what really matters.
I know from my own experience how unsettling it can be to leave a life or career that no longer fits — and how much clarity, growth, and relief can come from having someone alongside you as you navigate what comes next.
I focus especially on women moving through peri/menopause, shifting family roles, moving into an empty nest, and the realities of the Sandwich Generation.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for your story. This is a space where you can speak freely, be heard, and begin to understand yourself in new ways — without judgment.
Together, we explore the emotions, roles, and coping strategies that have shaped your life, gently untangling the ones that no longer serve you. When history is part of your story, I integrate EMDR and inner child work to help process past experiences and reconnect with your strength.
Many of the people I work with aren’t in crisis. They’re managing responsibilities, caring for others, and realizing something needs attention or support. Whether you’re grieving, shifting identity, healing old wounds, or learning to prioritize yourself for the first time in years, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and move forward with clarity, care, and presence.
