I know what it’s like to move through the world feeling misunderstood, underestimated, and pressured to fit into systems that weren’t built for you. Growing up with a learning disability, I learned early how to mask, work twice as hard, and navigate environments that didn’t match the way I naturally think and process. The discrimination and exclusion I faced—especially in academic spaces—shaped how I understand people, stress, burnout, and the quiet ways we learn to survive.

Art became my refuge long before it became my profession. It helped me express what I couldn’t say, make sense of overwhelming emotions, and heal from trauma in a way that felt safe and honest. That lived experience is the foundation of my work today. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist with over a decade of experience, I support adults navigating anxiety, chronic stress, low self-esteem, burnout, grief, and the exhaustion that comes from constantly adapting to a world that doesn’t honor neurodivergent ways of being.

As both a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist, I integrate counseling and art therapy to help clients explore emotions, process experiences, and develop greater self-understanding. My approach is neuro-affirming, inclusive, and grounded in compassion. I’m committed to creating spaces where adults can show up without masking, without performing, and without apologizing for their needs. I also advocate for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and mentor emerging therapists so they can offer the kind of accessible, affirming care our communities deserve.
