I’m Eric Jensema, a Wisconsin Licensed Professional Counselor in Training (LPC-IT). I practice at Madison Psychotherapy Center under clinical supervision.

Before counseling, I spent more than two decades in business and corporate work. That experience—and my own commitment to inner work—helps me meet people navigating pressure, change, and the feeling that life looks fine on the outside while something inside needs attention.

I work from a collaborative, compassionate, and holistic perspective, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, life transitions, and feelings of disconnection from themselves and others. I integrate psychodynamic, Jungian, somatic, mindfulness-based, family systems, existential, and experiential approaches to therapy.

I am interested in nervous system regulation, trauma healing, meaning-making, men’s mental health, group work. My work emphasizes both inner and outer transformation, supporting clients in developing awareness of the patterns, beliefs, emotions, and bodily experiences that shape their lives.

I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing misophonia and other nervous system-based sensitivities.
