About & Introduction
I work with adults and older teens who are navigating questions of identity, relationships, neurodivergence, sexuality, gender, family, and the complicated transitions that come with figuring out how to live in a way that feels more authentically your own. I particularly enjoy working with LGBTQ+ and queer clients, transgender and gender-expansive people, autistic and ADHD clients, and people whose experiences don’t fit neatly into traditional ideas about how a person is “supposed” to think, feel, communicate, work, or relate. Clients may come to therapy feeling burned out, misunderstood, stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand, or simply wanting a space where they don’t have to explain or defend who they are.
My approach is collaborative, relational, and deeply affirming. I don’t see therapy as a process of fixing what’s “wrong” with you. Instead, I want to understand the context in which you’ve learned to navigate the world and work with you to identify what is and isn’t serving you anymore. Depending on what you need, our work might involve exploring relationships and family patterns, making sense of identity and life transitions, developing practical strategies for navigating executive functioning or overwhelm, understanding the impact of masking and chronic stress, or simply creating space to be curious about yourself without judgment. I draw from relational, narrative, trauma-informed, and parts-oriented approaches and tailor therapy to the individual rather than expecting every client to fit a particular model.
I practice from a neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and social-justice-oriented perspective. I’m attentive to the ways that systems, culture, family expectations, ableism, gender norms, racism, and other forms of marginalization can shape our experiences and our relationships with ourselves. I believe therapy should make room for the whole person—including the parts of your life that may not fit comfortably into conventional narratives. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest, curious, complicated, and fully yourself.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will approach you with curiosity rather than assumptions, I’d be glad to connect. We can start wherever you are and figure out together what you want therapy to be for you.
